I used to detail cars professionally. Recently, I bought a buffer Milwaukee 5540 - the best and ordered the slop from AutoMagic .

The weekend prior to detailing the exterior, I had cleaned the interior. Murphy's oil soap works great on dash and seats! I hate armour all like products, BTW.
The little bissel can do an amazing job on the carpets. Use it on a sunny day and leave the windows down for the afternoon (or doors open if you can trust the local cats). It all looks brand new again!

I used the AutoMagic "Awesome Gloss" wax with the buffer after claying the noticeable contaminants (tree sap, road tar, etc). It turned out increadible! I had already taken some"BC-2®" a few months ago but didn't follow with the final gloss.

Since I'd taken it this far, I hit the tires and all the molding with "Magic Dressing". This stuff is far superior to anything you can get in the store. It cleans as it shines. It made my rubber look new again. All around the glass, the mud flaps, the sunroof! You wouldn't believe how much black smudge came out of that sunroof moulding. It looks so much better now!

Then, after dressing all the rubber, run over the whole car with a small, damp, terry cloth towel with just a little awesome gloss. Don't wait for haze, just wipe it off with a clean, dry hand towel. (I'd already applied it with a machine, this was to get the little bit of dressing off the paint where I'd wiped it).

Last, the glass. I have a special product for that! Windex . Don't forget to lower the window and get that top edge first.

I then drove the car from Atlanta to Maryville, NC. It still doesn't look dirty even though its been rained on several times. Everytime I approach the car I stop and admire! I say, "damn that's a shiney car" and a smile wipes across my face.

Many thanks to Acura Client Services for taking car of a huge Rear VIew Mirror problem I had (it spewed and ruined some interior). They fixed everything. I truly enjoy every detail of this car again.
